- I’m starting to have some cool stuff happening. I’m developing an editorial interface that’s half-way between Manila and WebEdit. It’s an ftp-like browser with buttons that allow you to get to CGIs that do file-system-like stuff, like adding folders and documents, renaming things, moving things around, and getting into page editors. It’s also going to be able to get at scalar values inside, for example, the #prefs table, via fields on a CGI form. I’m taking into account the fact that there are special entries that may want popups, radio buttins or checkboxes. It’s looking good.
- As seen on Scripting News, Edit This Page crashed this afternoon, and had to be restored from a backup. I lost changes I’d made here and on Jahoo! late last night.
- Overheard in the office: I wonder what the longest yoyo in the world is.
