  • I just finished restoring my home server to full functionality. It had decided that it wanted not only to crash four or five times a day, but that it wouldn’t launch any web browser. Sounds like a corrupted system resource or shared library to me, no? Anyway, I copied everything to a safe disk, reformatted, reinstalled the OS, copied preference files, and all seems to be well again.
  • Sonic’s stock is flying! I thought my options (which expire on the 22nd) would never be worth anything. I’m going to try to get out today.
  • It turns out that you have to have $5,000 to start a brokerage account with Charles Schwab, but my options aren’t going to be worth that much, so I have to sell them through another broker. By the time I found this out, the markets had closed, and Sonic is announcing their quarterly fiscal report tonight. I hope it isn’t bad news.
