  • Jahoo! broke 10,000 hits today on the top 100 list.
  • I’ve spent the day working on a generic handler for directives and other Frontier-ish objects that start with ‘#’. I’ve finished a glossary editor and an ‘#images’ table browser… Well sort of. They have a front-end, but the back-end is still in the works… (Why does Frontier have to write a JPEG image out to a file in order to figure out its pixel dimensions?)

And on that note- why don’t I have a way to serve anything through mainResponder, whose name starts with ‘#’

  • My friend Dave (not Winer, though his name does end in ‘-er’) may be changing jobs and locations soon. I hope he moves. I have my own selfish reasons (he’s a kick-ass drummer) for this, but it’s up to him. In the meantime, I’ll be an enabler. I set up an account on my FTP server so he’d have someplace to put his stuff, since he has to give his computer back to his current employers (that is if he decides to make the move).
  • Out of context, Sally sais: he can’t do what you can do, so he just wants to take over,
