  • My friend Dave is in town. He’s staying at my house tonight. We went out for Italian food, and a couple of beers at our local Irish pub. They has a sign that said that on X-Mas, they had a happy hour all day ($2 well drinks and beer), but X-Mas was crossed off the sign, and underneath was added, “all day, every day”! Cheapest microbrews on tap in San Francisco, as far as I can tell.

  • I’m working on the image editor for Macworld some more today. Hopefully I haven’t made any major disconnect with what the writers and editors want.
  • I’ve been feeling under the weather for the last week or so. I’m hoping I don’t have some viral infection which will turn into a protracted illness. Anyway, I feel a bit better today after having a full ten-hour sleep last night.
  • I put up my old website at http://www.jspace.org a couple of weeks ago, but I hadn’t pointed to it yet. Sometimes I think it’s interesting, but most of the time I think the majority of the stuff I wrote there was basically boring to anyone except myself.

  • I’ve designed an expanded image table spec which accounts for thumbnails, and rollovers all in one Frontier object.
  • Well, it seems as though newnode.com and breakfeast.com are both still available, so it appears that either nobody at register.com is grabbing names out of their CGI, or nobody’s interested in those domains.
