Undercover federal agents were able to penetrate 19 Federal Agencies and two major airports using fake badges and credentials they forged themselves using personal computers and color printers. In no instance was their forgery discovered. In one case, agents were able to leave an uninspected van in an agency parking lot for a long period of time. On one day, they were able to penetrate no fewer than eight separate federal agencies. Sennate subcommittee meetings are currently taking place.

Senator Bobby Scott (D-VA) calims that it is dangerous to hold hearings so soon after the penetrations took place, in that it may put agencies at even more risk by publicizing the methods used by the agents.

“Fighting stupidity since 1977” An interesting website… Found via a banner ad displayed on my site while editing.
He’s looking for an apartment in LA: “I am not asking for a lot, just a studio or 1 bedroom that allows a small dog for under $800/month. Why is this so hard?” Don’t move to San Francisco, Oliver!

(I know another Oliver, who lives here in SF, and needs to do some work on his website.)

There was a high of 82 degrees fahrenheit today in San Francisco. A hot day by some standards, but an especially hot day in my top-floor Noe Valley apartment.
