Mac Net Journal: “Stop the presses! According to a review on MacCentral (Adobe unveils Photoshop 7.0 for Mac OS X) and another article on CNET (Picture this: Photoshop on OS X) tonight, Adobe will unveil Photoshop 7.0 for OS X on Monday. But before you rush to buy the upgrade, the catch is that Adobe doesn’t expect to actually ship the software until April… It appears the suggested retail price for Photoshop 7.0 will be $600, and an upgrade to the new version from Photoshop Elements or Photoshop LE will cost $499.”

No big surprise here that it won’t ship ’till April. I heard a few years ago that the Photoshop codebase contained about 15,000 source files — probably a couple million lines of code. I wonder how long they’ve been working on the port? Any insiders care to comment?
